The Past 2 Weeks

So today I'm sick in bed, but the rest of the past week or two has been exciting! To start we were supposed to go camping on August second. That didn't happen. The van wouldn't start, and once we finally got it to start we decided that we didn't want to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with no way to get home. Sooo, no camping trip! Instead we went to the movies and watched Ant Man and went to Steppin' Out (an annual street fair). The next week was sour week off before the school year. Yes, we do school during the summer; less school, but still school. So on Monday we went to Pandapas Pond and hand fed the geese popcorn. Marie got a little scared but was also fascinated by the geese, like she is with most bugs. on Tuesday we went to the water park in Roanoke, most of the time we were on the two giant slides. One of the slides was a giant twisty water slide that went pretty fast for only a slight incline. The other started in a sharp incline that spit you out into something like a quarter machine. You know, like something you would find in the middle of the mall where the quarter spins around the bowl for a while before it drops into the bottom. Personally I think they're just trying to trick people into giving them more money! Anyway, the human quarter, as I call it, was my favorite part of the water park.On Wednesday we stayed at home most of the day, but in the afternoon we went shopping. Thursday was actually pretty boring. Sorry, broke my promise about the whole week being exciting :)! On Friday we went to Camp Altomons to meet some friends of my Grandma's. While we were there we met the cutest dogs on earth. Sorry all you people who think you have the cutest dogs; you're just wrong. We ended up naming them Luke and Laya, we're pretty sure they are siblings. They ended up going to the pound but we have visited them twice. Laya had a collar so she has to stay unadoptable for longer than Luke. Luke can be adopted now, but Laya still has a few days. We are really hoping that they will get adopted together because they are really attached. We started school on Monday, other than that life has been pretty much normal. See ya next time!

Cows, Cows, and more...Cats?

So I went to my Grandmother's house for a week, and yes I saw lots of cows and one crazy cat named Tippy. This is what he looks like.

He is named Tippy because of the white tip on his tail. Here are some cows!

I didn't get very many pictures of the cows, but that is the best one. They also have two other cats; they look like this.
This is Buddy!

                                                         This is Buddy's brother Elvis!
So that is what I who I've been around for a week! All of them are very sweet!
